Adelphi is seeking a psychiatrist to provide services at a facility in Johnson, Kentucky. The psychiatrist will offer comprehensive psychiatric care to students in the vocational training center. The ideal candidate will possess an active Kentucky license, be board certified/board eligible with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities:
• Offer psychiatric consultations, evaluations, medication management, and on-call support to the Center's students.
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions of students within a clinical environment.
• Offer recommendations for medication, laboratory tests, hospital admissions, and referrals as needed.
• Offer telephone support and guidance to the Center's nursing and psychological staff for handling emergencies, minor illnesses/incidents.
• Deliver treatment to individuals at the facility, including those who may already be receiving psychiatric services or medication.
• Assess individuals and continue their treatment, therapy, or medication as required to support their ongoing participation in the Center’s program.
• Administer and manage psychiatric medication for individuals as medically necessary.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Center's administration.
