Psychiatrist Opportunity in Greenville, NC
We are seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as the Medical Director for the Center for Telepsychiatry and E-Behavioral Health in Greenville, NC.
The role involves serving as the Chief Clinical Officer for the Center for Telepsychiatry and E-Behavioral Health (CTeBH) and the NC-STeP program, which currently provides services to 29 hospitals and 22 community-based clinics across North Carolina.

- Fixed-term clinical faculty appointment available at the title/rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor, depending on qualifications
As a Psychiatrist in this role, you will:
- Serve as Chief Clinical Officer for the Center for Telepsychiatry and E-Behavioral Health (CTeBH) and the NC-STeP program
- Oversee the development and expansion of telepsychiatry services
- Provide clinical services via telepsychiatry (60% of the time)
- Develop and implement initiatives to expand the program footprint
- Supervise and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Oversee an outcomes monitoring system to improve patient outcomes
- Manage and oversee a peer-review program
- Identify and implement evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with faculty members and recruit diverse faculty for the core leadership team
- Engage in clinical, educational, and scholarly activities
- Report to the Executive Dean and work closely with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Demonstrated track record in telepsychiatry and psychiatric administration
- Strong leadership and administrative skills
- Experience in clinical supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
