Psychiatrists – Multiple Openings (Einstein Practice Plan, Inc., Philadelphia, PA): Provide inpatient and outpatient services to patients with mental, emotional and/or behavioral disorders experiencing comorbid psychiatric and general medical conditions. Prescribe and administer psychotherapeutic treatments and/or medications. Tailor treatment to patients’ physical and emotional needs. Pre-authorize and/or complete the involuntary process for psychiatric hospitalization Provide timely and appropriate communication with agencies, referring physicians, patients and their families. Liaise with interdisciplinary medical and surgical teams to optimize patient care.

Requires: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)/ Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or foreign equivalent; Pennsylvania license/eligibility; completion of a 4-year (48-month) Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved psychiatry residency program; must be Board Eligible (B.E.)/Board Certified (B.C.) in Psychiatry; Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
