An affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time or part-time adult psychiatrist to provide care in our Adult Outpatient Department. The psychiatrist provides clinical assessment and follow-up care for patients in our clinic and leads a multidisciplinary clinical team that includes outpatient psychotherapists. Our medical team comprises 400 Physicians, making us the biggest multi-specialty physician group located north of Boston.

About the opportunity:

• Interest in treating Substance Use Disorders is highly desirable, but formal Addiction training is not required.
• Other clinical opportunities may include periodic coverage at the Center for Behavioral Health, a newly renovated 120-bed psychiatric inpatient facility established in affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital (Mass General).
• Multiple opportunities exist for ongoing professional learning and teaching medical students, PA students, and NP students.
• A Tufts Medical School faculty appointment is available for physicians who participate in medical student teaching.
• Evening and weekend call are very reasonable and provide significant additional compensation.
