THE PRACTICE

Humboldt County Behavioral Health - Eureka, CA

Humboldt County Behavioral Health, provides mental health services for Humboldt County residents, including eligible Medi-Cal patients. Their county services provide treatment to address their residents’ mental health systems, arranging follow-up quality care, and a referral network of resources. TBH supports Humboldt County Behavioral Health with Adult and Child & Adolescent physicians to address the needs of their patients.

Tele-Hybrid Outpatient Services

  • Adult Services
  • Flexible 8 or 10 hours of coverage Monday – Friday
  • 3 weeks tele services, 1 week in-person
  • No call, nights, or weekends
  • Case load of 250
  • Volume of 6-8 patients per day
  • Average of 1-5 intakes per week
  • 60 minutes for an initial eval and 30 minutes for a follow-up visit
  • On-site one week per month, travel costs covered by TBH (for W2 employees)
  • Clinic hosts NP trainees, physician candidates should be comfortable being a preceptor
