JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hospital in Florida is seeking a psychiatrist to join their affiliated established Psychiatry Residency Program. The incoming physician will receive faculty appointment.
About position:
Department consists of an inpatient unit, consultation liaison service, PHP/IOP clinic and ECT service
Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient treatment for adults 18 and old who are experiencing acute illnesses that require 24-hour medical care
The incoming physician would focus on inpatients consults and IOP
A resident is in house 24/7 for consults, admissions, and emergencies
Call responsibilities are 1:5
Supervise on average 3-4 residents
Participate in structured didactics
