JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in New Hampshire is seeking a Psychiatrist to oversee the Behavioral Health Services as Medical Director. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered.
The primary responsibilities of the Medical Director include:
Devoting at least 20 hours per week to patient clinical time and 20 hours per week to administrative time
Providing 24/7 administrative on-call coverage or identifying an “acting Medical Director” during authorized periods of absence
Providing clinical oversight of the PHP and the IOP
Providing occasional on-site consultation at Main Campus, as needed
Participating in after-hours clinical on-call duties to provide 24/7 psychiatric coverage, as needed
Supervising and teaching third- and fourth-year medical students during their behavioral health rotation
Collaborating with the Nurse Director of BHS
