Psychiatrist – Inpatient

Psychiatrist needed in Naples, FL.

We are actively engaged with a very progressive, well run and financially stable non-profit organization in Collier County, FL. They have been in business for over 50 years and provide a wide array of healthcare to meet the needs of their community. From Mental Health to Addiction Recovery and everything in between, serving adults, children, and families.

  • Offered salary range based on experience is $275,000 - $300,000

Responsibilities

  • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Some flexibility available with scheduled hours)
  • 10 – 12 patients per day
  • On call Details:
    • $3,000 weekly flat rate for Crisis Stabilization Psychiatrist On-Call Duty
    • Monday-Monday
    • Rounds for Psychiatric Evaluation/Medication Management (Adult & Child CSU)
    • Saturday & Sunday with 2 Supporting APRN's
    • On-call Consultation and Orders for After Hours (5PM- 8AM) for Assigned Week
    • Emergencies and Orders

Requirements

  • Clear and Active FL Psychiatrist License & DEA
  • Medical Doctor Degree from a regionally accredited College or University
  • Experience with Baker Acts - Required
  • 2 years of inpatient experience and working with adults, adolescents and children that have severe mental illnesses/co-occurring disorders - Required
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to the care and treatment of those with mental health or substance use disorders
  • Spanish Bilingual – Preferred not Required
  • Ability to assess emergency situations and respond effectively
  • Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check - Required
