DESCRIPTION:

This position is for inpatient services.

Possible assignment to multiple units

The caseload is coverage for 2 units (21-45 patient caseload).

Completion of routine patient admissions and discharges.

Provide psychiatric response for emergent patient crisis only as needed.

Ability to maintain professional documentation within an electronic medical record.

Ability to complete evaluations for Court Order Psychiatric Medication (COPM), including court testimony.

Fast-paced environment requires skills to respond to psychiatric and medical crisis for male/female patients.

Schedule will be discussed at time of the interview.

REQUIRED:

· NY state license; active, unrestricted

· Board Certified ABPN

· Within 6 months of Forensics/Corrections experience.

. Must have experience working within a correctional setting, including county jails and state prisons.

. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

· Crisis treatment

COMPENSATION:

· OPEN RATE - Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.) (Bid for interview closes 07/08/2024).

· Malpractice insurance provided.

SCHEDULE:

· Mon-Fri 8-4:30 pm, 40 hr./wk.
