Shifts: 2 weeks per month. 100% Travel

Job Details:

Provide full range of Psycho-diagnostic services for veterans at VA clinics with Indian Health Services treating tribal veterans in Chinle, Kayenta, Polacca and Tuba City, AZ. Perform psychiatric evaluations for a diverse population of patients-male, female geriatric, and post deployment combat veterans. Responsible for identification of patient problems requiring consultation with other multi-disciplinary medical center staff and making appropriate referrals. Participate effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.

Qualifications:

Psychiatry Physician must be licensed in the state

Extensive understanding of mental health issues as associated geographically separated patients.

Detail oriented, analytical
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently and with others
•Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
•Proficient with computers as it relates to electronic medical documentation.
