- Additional Info: You will play a key role in delivering exceptional psychiatric care, providing administrative support, and direct care to patients. Responsibilities: - Evaluate and treat patients, provide psychiatric assessment/care and health education services; assess psychological impact of illness and treat appropriately. - Prescribe medications including controlled substances utilizing evidence-based medicine. - Provide consultation to nurses to triage patients who call or walk into the Health Center. - Work closely in collaboration with BH and primary care clinicians around referrals generated for medication evaluation, and follow medication management visits. Qualifications: - MA license - Prior ambulatory experience preferred - Experience in a diverse culture preferred - Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
