Job Summary
Job Description
Seeking a psychiatrist to join an existing group for the expansion of a new inpatient facility. The state-of-the-art facility will have an eight-bed adolescent unit, 24 bed adult unit and 12 bed geropsychiatry unit.
The group provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to include both adult, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program and medical education. The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns. A psychiatric residency program will be initiated once the hospital is built. An ECT program will be added.
The psychiatrist will be evaluating and treating a general adult population. Anticipated patient load would be 18-20 patients per day. Weekday call is currently being handled.
