Seeking an experienced BC Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our telepsychiatry and e-behavioral health team. The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Clinical Officer for the 2 programs. Applicants should have a demonstrated track record in telepsychiatry and psychiatric administration. The position emphasizes a leadership role and an active engagement in clinical, educational, and scholarly activities.


The center currently serves over 50 hospitals and community-based clinics across the state of North Carolina. The members are made up of a combination of professional personnel, faculty, and contracted external providers. The team reports to a School of Medicine and works closely with a university department of psychiatry and behavioral medicine to recruit diverse faculty members to serve on the core leadership team, and to provide psychiatric and psychotherapy services. In total, the program includes 23 credentialed clinical providers, including board-certified psychiatrists and other advanced practice providers specializing in mental health fields.

  • Fixed Term clinic faculty appointment available at the title/rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank depending on qualifications
