Facility: 450-bed academic teaching hospital which is part of a large, university affiliated teaching and academic health system.
Opportunity: Opening is for an Adult inpatient psychiatrist. The inpatient unit is a 35 bed adult only unit and the physician staff is comprised of 4 attending psychiatrists and one inpatient medical director. Monday through Friday schedule with flexible start/end times to beat the traffic. Patient volume of 8-10 per Psychiatrist. The individual hired would be appointed to the faculty of the School of Medicine.
Compensation: Salary is DOE with an incentive and bonus plan. One of the top benefit programs in NYC, with paid malpractice, 30 days PTO first year, loan repayment and visa support offered.
