Job Description
We are seeking to hire a full-time board-certified psychiatrist in the Milwaukee WI area.
Join our premier behavioral health program. Our program includes outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatric care, a partial hospitalization program, and integrated behavioral health services. You will interact with a team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, psychotherapists, and social workers.
The candidate reports to the clinical program director, provides psychiatric evaluations, medical management, consultation with patients, and implements appropriate treatment.
Technical Skill-Core Competencies
- Performs ECT/TMS therapy.
- Provides psychiatric evaluation on all new patients and establishes treatment recommendations using age-appropriate techniques.
- Prescribes and manages patient medication and treatment.
- Maintains appropriate, legible, and timely written patient records and submits patient-billing information accurately and on time.
- Supports therapists, as appropriate, in the care of patients or the rendering of services to patients to provide high-quality patient care.
- Serves as a collaborator for advanced practice nurses.
- Attends educational programs to increase professional competence and learn new developments and approaches in psychiatry.
Education, Training, and Experience

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a residency in psychiatry
- Completion of a psychiatric residency program from an accredited residency program.
- Wisconsin State licensure required
- Board eligible in appropriate specialty (board certified preferred)
