Staff Psychiatrist

Location: Boston, MA

About Our Facility: Join our team at a full-service, independent, privately-owned psychiatric facility located in the peaceful environment of Brookline, Massachusetts. Our facility is a beacon of hope in the mental health and substance use treatment landscape, serving a diverse range of adults and adolescents across various diagnostic categories. We pride ourselves on a trauma-informed, person-centered treatment approach, with a steadfast focus on recovery.

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Staff Psychiatrist to enhance our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional psychiatric care and make a significant impact in the field of mental health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver unparalleled psychiatric care to inpatients, partial hospital patients, and outpatients.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of highly trained physicians and clinical staff.
  • Engage with managed care companies, demonstrating proficiency in documentation.
  • Contribute to the advancement of medicine through teaching and supervisory roles.
Our Comprehensive Continuum of Care: Our facility features a 24/7 on-campus psychiatrist physician, supported by a round-the-clock triage, assessment, and admissions process. The inpatient programs cater to adults and adolescents, focusing on acute, short-term treatment for co-occurring conditions.

New Inpatient Unit - Dodge 1: Our latest addition is Dodge 1, a 12-bed, dual diagnosis inpatient unit offering intensive treatment in a supportive environment.

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs): Located in Brookline, Dedham, Lowell, and Woburn, our PHPs provide a crucial transitional step from inpatient care or as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. These programs operate Monday to Friday, from 9am-2pm, with individualized treatment durations.

Treatment Orientation & Approach: Our PHPs incorporate evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, SFBT, and MI. The focus is on group therapy, patient education, medication management, and individual aftercare planning.
