Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our esteemed medical team in Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for individuals with mental health and emotional disorders. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, psychologists, social workers, and nurses.
  • Provide consultation services to other medical professionals and community agencies.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements in psychiatric care.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs within the healthcare system and the community.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care preferred
