**Psychology opening in Wisconsin**_x000D_ - Located in La Crosse_x000D_ - 70 miles to Rochester, MN_x000D_ - Full Time, Employed_x000D_ _x000D_ The Department of Psychiatry and Psychology in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a PhD level Psychologist to join our team supporting the multispecialty Advanced Weight Management Program. Our psychology team focuses on the psychological assessment and behavioral treatment of patients seeking weight loss treatment, including bariatric surgery, endoscopic interventions, weight loss medications, and lifestyle intervention. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated interest and experience in providing evidence-based psychological care in a multidisciplinary weight management team. Sub-specialty shadowing and training opportunities are also possible at other sites and in Rochester for those with broader clinical health backgrounds. _x000D_ _x000D_ The Department of Psychiatry & Psychology is a growing a collaborative team comprised of 4 psychiatrists, 3 health psychologists, 3 clinical psychologists, 2 neuropsychologists, 25 masters-prepared therapists, and 4 case managers. Academic rank in the College of Medicine and Science will be granted commensurate with experience. _x000D_ _x000D_ Qualifications:_x000D_ - Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin _x000D_ - Board-certified/Board-eligible through the American Board of Professional Psychology_x000D_ - Completion of an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program and internship_x000D_ - Experience in empirically based treatment approaches for psychiatric diagnoses such as anxiety and depressive disorders_x000D_ - Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred, but not required_x000D_ - Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical, educational, and research collaboration and excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities.
