Join Brynn Marr Hospital's dynamic team as a Psychiatrist! We are actively seeking an energetic, compassionate, and self-motivated individual to contribute to our outstanding psychiatric care services in eastern North Carolina. This full-time Medical Director Physician position offers a Monday – Friday schedule, with responsibilities covering patient care in both inpatient and residential treatment programs.

Requirements:

- MD/DO degree from an accredited program
- Board certified in Psychiatry (required)
- Board certified in C/A Psychiatry (preferred)
- Licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina or ability to obtain licensure
- Minimum of five years of practice experience
- Management experience preferred
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

As a highly visible and active role, the Medical Director position includes:

- Supervision of other physicians, nurse practitioners and clinical staff
- Program development
- Participation in Medical Staff and Executive Team committees and meetings
- Involvement in quality improvement initiatives, risk management, and service utilization management
