The College of Community Health Sciences at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa seeks an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Psychiatry to serve a community with high needs. The position offers a unique opportunity to help establish a psychiatry residency program in an underserved area while enjoying the benefits of living in a vibrant university town with an affordable cost of living. The work environment is focused on its mission and is highly relaxed. Leadership roles are also available, and as the department and program expand, new opportunities will continue to arise. Candidates must be MDs or DOs and board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatric Medicine.
