**Neuropsychologist opportunity in Kankakee, Illinois**

**About the Job:**
- Full-time, permanent
- The Rehab Psychologist provides professional services to the Rehab Unit Staff, other hospital departments, and significant community agencies.
- Attends regularly scheduled staffing and case reviews.
- Consultant to the physicians regarding advisability of and methods of psychological testing and to the administration of such tests to appropriate patients.
- Coordinates and supervises psychology students of accredited universities during their clinical practicum.
- Coordinates educational programs for Rehab Unit Staff, other hospital departments, and the community in coordination with the Rehab Unit Manager.
- Identify, develop, implement and name psychological services consistent with the operating needs of the 4th Rehab unit.
- Provide psychological testing and consultive service for inpatients and other psychiatric evaluation services upon consultation of staff physician orders.
- Provides individual therapy for patients upon request of physician.
**Experience/Education Requirements:**
- PhD in Clinical Psychology or professional doctorate degree with certification as a registered psychologist (able to perform independently)
- Prior experience in the rehabilitation inpatient setting preferred, with supervised clinical experience in the various treatment modalities
- 2 years of experience in the various treatment modalities
- 2 years of experience or supervised training in performing psychological testing, including neuropsychological and personality batteries
