Emerald Coast Behavioral is recruiting a General Psychiatrist for their Inpatient Military Programs in Panama City, FL. The primary daily caseload will be adult military populations.

The Military Resiliency and Veteran Support Units provide individualized treatment for active, reserve, national guard service members, and veterans. Our programming was designed exclusively to meet the unique needs of military service members facing various challenges, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, comprehensive or complex trauma, substance-related and addictive disorders, acute mental disorders and dual diagnosis.

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is a private behavioral health hospital that provides diverse inpatient and outpatient treatment options in the areas of child, adolescent, adult and geriatric psychiatry as well.

Requirements:

  • Must be board certified in General Psychiatry with an active FL license or the ability to obtain

  • Must be on-site only
  • *Must be comfortable treating all ages for weekend call coverage but the daily caseload will be adult populations

  • Prior experience treating military populations preferred
  • Interest and experience in TMS is preferred
