Annashae Healthcare is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist for a high-security inpatient mental health facility in Northern Illinois. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of professionals while making a significant impact on the lives of patients in a secure, structured environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
- **Medication Management:** Meet with patients regularly to review their medication plans, explain medication choices, and address any other concerns.
- **Documentation:** Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medication changes and clinical decisions.
- **Seclusion and Restraints Review:** Conduct reviews at least twice a month to ensure patient safety and compliance with facility protocols.
- **Court Testimony:** Testify in court as required for involuntary commitments, fitness to proceed, and other related matters.
- **Collaboration:** Participate in the hospital’s peer review program and stay informed of facility policies and procedures.

### Requirements:
- **Current Illinois Medical License** (Full and unrestricted)
- **Illinois Controlled Substance Certificate**
