Job Description
Last Update:

Trying to secure a contract with the U.S. Veterans Administration in the states of Texas and Pennsylvania. These are for Board Certified Psychiatric MDs, include both inpatient & Outpatient, as well as Consult Liaison Services, and all are full-time, long term. They are in-person only, no Tesepsych. The duration is 6 month minimum jobs with options to extend as long as you’d like. We’ve had providers stay in these positions more than five years, six months or any amount of time in between. It is important to note that providing your interest DOES NOT require you to apply or take the job. It is simply an interest in the job itself. If you do want to apply, responding to this request will put your application ahead of anyone else who wants to apply.
To respond with interest, you simply need to send me your updated CV, DEA, Board Certification, and any active, unrestricted license that you possess. Let me know if you are interested in the Texas positions, Pennsylvania positions, or both. This is TIME SENSITIVE. I MUST HAVE THESE DOCUMENTS IN HAND BY FRIDAY 07/14/23 EOB.
OTHER DETAILS:
*Inpatient is a hospital job that requires varied shifts and Call. You may be assigned to any shift and call time. The hospital does try to grant requests, but that can be difficult when many providers want the same schedule.
*Outpatient is a M-F 8a - 5p schedule; full time, 40 hour week
*Consult Liaison Service is generally an 8a-5p job, but can include after hours work, rounding, etc.
*Travel and Lodging are covered.
*Malpractice Insurance is covered.
