Outpatient and Reception Services Psychiatrist – Ocala, Florida
One of the most diverse and innovative female correctional institutions in the US. Provide all levels of outpatient and receptions services within this female correctional institution. Training and mentoring opportunities to teach PGY1, PGY2, PGY3 psychiatry residents.

Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Current license to practice medicine in Florida required
Board Certification for certification in Psychiatry
Must have an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as psychiatrist in a clinical setting preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Experience in correctional mental health care or locked unit preferred
Working Hours
Day Shift
All full-time Psychiatrists participate in rotational on-call approximately every 6 to 8 weeks. The on-call lasts for 7 days / 24 hours per day and is compensated above and beyond the guaranteed annual salary.
