Facility: Opportunity to join prestigious Medicine Group. All Psychiatrists are employed by School of Medicine. This position is located in Brooklyn at one of the New York City Community Hospitals. Community Medical surgical hospital has full comprehensive behavioral health services. The inpatient service is a 24-hour office of Mental Health licensed unit that provides services to individuals who require inpatient care in order to stabilize an acute psychiatric illness.

Opportunity: Inpatient Unit Chief opening for an experienced Psychiatrist candidate that's Board Certified. No Call. There is a 24-bed unit and the base load is 10-12 patients a day. Work with other experienced Psychiatrists and a seasoned supporting staff that includes social workers, case worker, behavioral health associates and 2 creative arts therapist. The nursing staff is well trained and very pleasant as well.

Compensation: Employed position with a competitive base salary. Salary is very negotiable base on experience. Strong incentives in place with excellent fringe benefits. Option to earn additional pay per hour with extra shifts.
