Job Title: Regional Medical Director (Psychiatrist)
Location: Washington State
Overview: We are seeking a Regional Director who is a Psychiatrist with expertise in the field of behavioral health to oversee our Behavioral Health System in Washington. This individual will be responsible for managing clinical and administrative operations in the region as state director , ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients and effective leadership to staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to clinical staff in the region, including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, and other Behavioral Health professionals.
- Manage the daily operations of the Behavioral Health System in Washington State, ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with established clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical programs, services, and policies to meet the needs of patients in the region.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Provide leadership to staff members, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other regional directors, senior management, and community partners to identify and address system-wide issues related to the delivery of behavioral health services.
- Manage the budget for the region, including forecasting and monitoring expenses, and ensure financial performance targets are met.
- Participate in strategic planning and business development activities to support the growth of the Behavioral Health System in the region.
- Maintain an active clinical practice with a 60/40 Clinical to Administrative Responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified Psychiatrist with an active medical license in Washington. (Or willing to License in WA)
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a behavioral health organization.
- Strong clinical expertise in the field of behavioral health, including experience providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to patients with a range of mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to the delivery of behavioral health services.
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
