Seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join as Program Director of Residency Program. Candidate may combine this position with working part-time at the crisis and consult service._x000D_

- An exciting opportunity is available to get in on the ground floor and become the founding Psychiatry Residency Program Director._x000D_
- The Psychiatry Residency Program Director will be welcomed and supported by a very experienced Chief Behavioral Officer._x000D_
- Chair, Behavioral Health team and Academic Affairs and GME leadership team. _x000D_
- There is also a multidisciplinary team of experienced psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, case managers and mental health technicians anxious to become part of a new teaching program._x000D_
- Looking for an experienced leader to design a curriculum that will challenge as well as support its trainees. _x000D_
- The program director will be provided with the salary support required for the non-clinical time necessary to administer the program._x000D_

Responsibilities:_x000D_

- Administer and maintain a learning environment conductive to educating the residents in each of the ACGME Competencies_x000D_
- Build relationships with members of the medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to create an environment where respectful discussion is welcome_x000D_
- Participate in clinical activity in order to role model the core competencies for the faculty and residents_x000D_

Requirement:_x000D_
_x000D_
- At least 1 year experience as a Program Director or Associate Director in a psychiatric residency program. _x000D_
- At least 3 years of documented educational and/or administrative experience_x000D_
- Current certification in Psychiatry by the ABPN or AOBNP_x000D_
- Current medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure _x000D_
- Eligible for an appropriate medical staff appointment _x000D_
