**Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist Opportunity - Cooperstown, NY** A progressive academic health system in central New York, and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking an Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant upstate community known for its cultural and outdoor activities. **Benefits Details** - Salary Range: $295,006 - $330,000, based on qualifications, experience, and fair market evaluation. - Sign-on bonus up to $200,000. - Group employed model. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. - Paid time off, including vacations and holidays. - Life insurance and disability protection. - Paid malpractice insurance. - Retirement plan options. - CME time and financial support. - Moving allowance. **Position Details** - The Department of Psychiatry includes both an Inpatient Psychiatry division (14-bed acute unit, consults to Med-Surg inpatients, and Emergency Departments) and an Outpatient Psychiatry division with an OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown, NY, and satellite clinics throughout the network. - Work as part of a diverse psychiatric team that includes MDs, PMHNPs, and Therapists. Responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments, prescribing, and managing medications. - Collaborate with and supervise Nurse Practitioners. - Provide occasional consult liaison coverage, including telepsych services to other hospitals in the network. - Combination of telepsych and in-person patient coverage. - Participate in inpatient call no more than 1:5 weekdays and 1 weekend per month. - Engage with medical students, as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents. - Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records. **Position Requirements** - MD, DO, or MBBS. - Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. - New York State Licensure. - BLS Certification required. - DEA required.
