Psychiatry opening in Tuscaloosa, AL ~ 58 miles southwest of Birmingham ~ Population of 90,400 ~ H1 Eligible *Seeking a Board Certified Adult or Geriatric Psychiatrist to join team for inpatient hospital coverage that includes emergency department and medical floor consults.* About the Job

  • Full-Time, permanent
  • Inpatient coverage at Behavioral Health Unit that has a total of 54 beds - 26 adult beds and 28 geriatric beds.
  • Coverage of medical consults at two campuses.
  • There is an expected case load of 15 patients per day per provider.
  • Expected call is every 4th weekend and up to two nights per week.
