**Psychiatry opening in Tuscaloosa, AL** ~ 58 miles southwest of Birmingham ~ Population of 90,400 ~ H1 Eligible *Seeking a Board Certified Adult or Geriatric Psychiatrist to join team for inpatient hospital coverage that includes emergency department and medical floor consults.* **About the Job** - Full-Time, permanent - Inpatient coverage at Behavioral Health Unit that has a total of 54 beds - 26 adult beds and 28 geriatric beds. - Coverage of medical consults at two campuses. - There is an expected case load of 15 patients per day per provider. - Expected call is every 4th weekend and up to two nights per week. - We are offering competitive salary and excellent benefits. **Health System Details:** Under local ownership and leadership for more than 90 years, the health system has been providing quality and compassionate healthcare to the people of West Alabama.
