EXCELLENT GERIATRIC PSYCHIATRY OPPORTUNITY IN THE PORTLAND,
OREGON METRO AREA.
It is a great position for a BE/BC psychiatrist with special interest in Geriatric Psychiatry/ Interface between Psychiatry and Medicine/ Dementia. Completion of a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry is preferred but not essential. In addition to working on the inpatient unit, the psychiatrists are expected to run a small outpatient practice three half-days per week. This is a salaried position and the psychiatrist is an employee, competitive salary with benefits is offered, with generous vacation time and PTO to attend CMEs. This is a full-service acute care facility with many primary care and specialty providers available to address nearly all healthcare needs. They are non-profit, community-based healthcare organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and is run by a seven-member Administrative Council.
