Adelphi is seeking a Podiatrist to provide services at a facility in Ventura, California. The responsibilities of the Podiatrist will include conducting examinations, administering diagnostic tests, creating treatment plans, and delivering services to patients in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for improving patients' mobility and quality of life.

Requirements:
  • DPM Degree
  • Active CA license
  • CPR and BLS
  • Min 1 year continuous experience within the last 3 years

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the foot, ankle and leg.
  • Evaluate patient concerns and assign corrective shoe inserts, design casts and strapping to correct deformities, research and design custom-made shoes.
  • Prescribe medication and supervise physical therapy.
  • Order x-rays and laboratory tests; prepare and maintain clinical records.
  • Establish policies and procedures regarding podiatric care for the residents at the facility.
  • Provide consultation and assessment, determine treatment plans and monitor therapy.
  • Advise and make recommendations to clinical staff concerning podiatric needs of residents, including professional issues, procedures, supplies and equipment.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
