Patients Per Shift: 3-6 maybe up to 10
Beds in Facility: 10

Board Certified – Required
Active ID License – Required or IMLC
Fellowship Preferred
BLS – Required
Call Type: Beeper
Call Response Time Required: 10-30 minutes
Call Ratio: 1
Trauma Level II
Reason for Coverage Intermittent physician gaps
Coverage Type intermittent
Specialty Physiatry, Internal Medicine (with rehab experience)
Practice Setting: Hospital
Previous rehabilitation unit experience preferred
Support Staff: Typically, 2 nurses and 1 CAN
Rounding on current patients
Round approximately 5-8 patients (5-10 minutes per patient
