  • Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 10-15 patients per shift. The facility is seeking Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation providers for locum coverage, with the potential for ongoing privileges as needs arise. The site is working on obtaining temporary privilege approval for April shifts; if unsuccessful, the start date will likely be in June. Guaranteed hours are 8 per shift, with OT applying after 10 hours and requiring pre-approval from the medical director. Providers must take a 1-hour lunch. Availability for specific dates is mandatory: Apr 28-May 18, Jun 9-Jun 18, Sep 29-Oct 5, Nov 24-Nov 30, and Dec 22-Jan 4.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation care to patients.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including pre-approved overtime and mandatory lunch breaks.

Qualifications

- Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- DEA certification and applicable state-controlled substance registration.
- Previous locum tenens experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.

Working Hours

- Guaranteed 8-hour shifts with OT applicable after 10 hours (pre-approval required).
- Required availability for specific dates: Apr 28-May 18, Jun 9-Jun 18, Sep 29-Oct 5, Nov 24-Nov 30, and Dec 22-Jan 4.
