Job Overview – Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (PM&R):
Step into a pivotal role as a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (PM&R) with our client in Queens, NY. In this dynamic position, you will diagnose and treat traumatic injuries and pain conditions, focusing on restoring functionality and enhancing patient well-being. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-focused setting.

Compensation: Up to $500,000/year (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Responsibilities as the Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (PM&R):
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Assess and diagnose pain and injury-related conditions, creating tailored rehabilitation plans to maximize recovery and health.
  • Patient Care: Prescribe medications, administer therapeutic injections, and provide guidance on exercises and nutrition for optimal outcomes.
  • Documentation: Ensure detailed and accurate patient records are maintained in compliance with policies and standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with specialists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Education and Support: Clearly explain diagnoses and treatment strategies to patients, offering education and resources to support their recovery.
Qualifications for the Rehabilitation Medicine Physician (PM&R):
  • Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) with specialized training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Licensure: Active New York Medical License required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years as a PM&R Physician, with expertise in treating work-related and motor vehicle injuries.
  • Certifications: Workers' Compensation Authorization and Licensed Acupuncturist required.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of No-Fault and Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
