A great rehab provider in West Texas, ranked in the top 10% yearly, is looking to add a general physiatrist to their team. This role allows a physician to build their practice and in myriad of different manners. This client provides patient-centric clinical care for their patients and remains focused on providing an excellent quality of work/life balance for their clinicians, too.

You have options for how to design your practice:

  1. Private practice, independent, with strong financial assistance on the path to success!
  2. You could be an employed practice in a private practice with a solid group
  3. You could work with the academic PM&R program associated with this excellent rehab hospital.

It’s rare to have the ability to design your practice is such a manner! This is primarily an inpatient role, with the opportunity to have outpatient as part of your practice, or hospital consults. You can design your ideal practice, as we have a large program and the room for people to explore their own interests. The facility employes a a comprehensive continuum of clinical care with a holistic, interdisciplinary approach; you will join a team of physiatrists and residents in providing excell rehabilitative care. You will contribute to in the field while teaching PM&R residents, participating in research if you wish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including stroke, brain injury and general rehab
  • Inpatient consults available, if you choose.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Actively engage in teaching and mentorship activities with PM&R residents.
  • Contribute to ongoing research, academic projects, and advocacy efforts aimed at advancing the field rehabilitation.

Qualifications

MD/DO degree with board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
