Locums – Petoskey, Michigan, Physiatry (PM&R) Opening
Clinical Role:
-
- Seeking a Locum PM&R physician to provide coverage from December 9, 2024 to September 1, 2025
- Reason for Locum Coverage: Retirement of current attending
- No Outpatient Duties
- Patients per day: No outpatient. Inpatient requirement 3 notes per week. NP on unit supplements. 14 beds
- Provide information on support staff, APP coverage, number of providers in the clinic and on-site services (lab, radiology, procedure room): full time NP assists with notes. Hospitalists can cover call if consulting model is desired
- Current EHR in use: Cerner
- Procedures/Skills required:
- Physiatrist
- PAPE/H & P
- Stroke
- Amputations
- Discharge Summary/Med Rec
- Clinical Staffing/Care Plan Meetings
- Weekly Care Plan Documentation
- Pre-Admission Screening Review & Documentation per CMS Guidelines
- Prescribing Narcotics
- Daily Patient Face to Face Acute Consultations as necessary
- Insurance Peer-to-Peers as necessary
- Board Certified – Required
- Active MI License – Required
- BLS – Required
