- Coverage Needed:
- November 5, 2024 - ongoing
- Available by pager 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, onsite hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm including half hour lunch
- Clinical Information:
- Attending physiatrist for general inpatient rehab unit with medically complex patients
- Internal medicine consulted on all patients to co-manage medical problems and hospitalist available 24/7 for emergency response calls
- Responsible for admissions, discharges, face to face visits (ideally every day, but minimum 3 days out of 7), sign preadmission screen, lead and document team conference meeting, IPOC forms
- Inpatient: 100%
- Volume: up to 16 inpatients
- EMR: EPIC
- Support staff: 1 MD
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility
- Active PA License
- Must be board certified or board eligible
