Facility in Williamsport, PA seeking PM&R locums coverage

Rates: $250/hr, $400 pager fee & $275/hr night call back

Coverage Details:

• Start Date: October 7, 2024

• Schedule:

  • Weekdays: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Call: One week of night call per month, 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM

• Setting: Inpatient Rehab

Duties:

• Inpatient Rounding: Up to 20 patients per day

• Admissions: 2-3 per day

• Consults: 4-5 per day

• Patient Population:

  • Neuro: 60% (brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury)

  • Trauma: 30%

  • Other (including orthopedic injuries, myopathies, cardiac patients): 10%

Credentialing:

• Days to Privilege: 60

• Privileges Available: Full Privileges; Temp Privileges

Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Required

• State License: Pennsylvania (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)

• Certifications Required: BLS

• DEA: Required

• Call Types: Telephone; Beeper

• On-Call Details: Typically, no admissions during call, but night call coverage is required one week per month.
