You will work collaboratively with the primary care physician, advanced practice clinician, physical and occupation therapist to enhance each patient stay by setting realistic goals to help patients return to their prior level of function and get back to living their best quality of life. This opportunity has enormous potential for growth and is full of rewards. The location is an acute care setting with newly renovated patient rooms and state of the art equipment for neurological, spinal cord, and stroke patients.
* Full-time (flexible daily hours)
* Call is day call only (no primary night call)
* IRF collaborating with PC team
* PM&R is consultant on the team

Below is a list of some of the medical services our physiatrists and rehabilitation specialists provide:
* Treatment for spasticity or pain that limits function
* Prescribe adaptive devices for safety
* Reduce opioid use through the use of alternative medication and modalities
* Educate staff on all aspects of the rehabilitation process
* Work closely with an IDT team on the most technology-based therapies to help patients regain their independence
