ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, are seeking fellowship trained BE/BC Child Adolescent Psychiatrists to staff the new ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital. New graduates and Visa candidates are welcome to apply.
ECU Health and Acadia Healthcare have broken ground on a state-of the-art, 144-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital. The new facility is expected to open spring of 2025 and will serve as a center of excellence dedicated to the mental health needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Located less than a mile from ECU Health Medical Center, the hospital will offer comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment options.

- 7 on 7 off schedule- 7am-7pm
- Providers will be expected to participate in teaching of medical students and/or residents and if desired conduct research
- Physician will have oversight to up to 2 residents on the unit with a capacity maximum of 24 beds
- Referral network includes 29 county service area with a population of 1.4 million people
