Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician) - New York

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiatrist (PM&R) to join our healthcare team in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation and a passion for providing top-tier rehabilitative care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, manage, and treat pain from injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions.
• Conduct thorough exams to identify challenging diagnoses.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation and treatment plans to restore functionality and improve well-being.
• Prescribe medications, administer injections, and educate patients on exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and medical teams to optimize patient care.
• Document all evaluations and treatments accurately and in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited university, NY Medical License.
• 5+ years of experience (preferred), with prior work in workers' compensation and motor vehicle injuries.
• Workers' Compensation Authorized, knowledge of No Fault and Workers' Compensation laws.
• Licensed Acupuncturist (preferred).
• Willingness to travel within NYC.
