Join St. Elias Specialty Hospital as a Full time Physiatrist in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a great opportunity to join a 46 bed and growing inpatient rehabilitation unit that's setting the standard for rehabilitation throughout the state. Here, you will treat patients with spinal cord injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, musculoskeletal issues, multiple trauma and other neurological diseases. This full-time staff physiatry position provides services spanning from inpatient care, patient screening, admissions and daily management. Providence St. Elias Specialty Hospital is the only Critical Illness Recovery and Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital in Alaska. Located near several trauma centers, St. Elias features a 35 bed CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, ranked by US News as the highest rated rehab program in the state. Under the guidance of rehabilitation physicians, using intensive therapeutic interventions of physical and occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, St. Elias helps patients achieve their highest level of recovery goals.
