A physician practice group at a large acute care hospital in the Bay Area of California is looking for an Associate in a General PMR practice to help care for patients in their acute rehab unit. You’ll be joining a PM&R group that is well-established and has a solid volume of both inpatient and outpatient work to get you busy quickly. Job Responsibilities

• This role would entitle care of about 16-20 rehab beds, as well as taking acute consultations in the main hospital.
• There is also an outpatient office that across the street from the rehab unit.
o Neuro rehab and post discharge experience would be valuable to the 5-10 patients per week you would see there.
o EMG expertise would be an asset to this practice as well.
• You would be on call one weekend monthly- but would most likely not be needed as hospitalists are there 24/7.

Qualifications

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
