Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Non-Tenure Track
The University of Missouri’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is committed to delivering exceptional care to individuals recovering from injury or illness. We are seeking a dedicated faculty member to join our team and support our mission of advancing patient care, education, and research.
Primary Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation services at Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Pursue a focused clinical interest in areas such as Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or Electromyography (EMG).
Teaching and Education:
- Educate and mentor rotating residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical settings.
- Actively participate in the clinical training and professional development of learners.
Research Opportunities:
Faculty members in the Department of PM&R have diverse research interests and opportunities for professional growth, including:
- Conducting clinical trials.
- Delivering professional presentations.
- Collaborating on the department’s Stroke Registry and other initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
