NEED: ( 1) Hospitalist and ( 2 ) Office Based Physicians REQUIRED: MD or DO Board Certified in Pediatrics PALS. NRP, APLS or NALS Circumcision Hospitlaist Preferred: IP Peds with ICU Coverage, Attendance at High Risk Deliveries, Ventilation Management, Lumbar Puncture NOT REQUIRED: Insertion of Central, Arterial or PA Catheters, Exchange Perfusion, Chest Tube Insertion, Pacentecis and Thoracentesis Trauma Level II with flight services in and out. 14 Private Pediatric Beds. 17 Private NICU Beds. Staffed with Nursing per Volumes Neonatologist and CRNA 24/7 Work 8-5 Monday through Friday with Call Coverage (Sat 8am-Sun 5pm)and (Wed 8am-Thurs 5 PM) Call can be done from Cell Phone. Rounds need to be done Sat/Sun as well as Delivery Attendance and Circumcisions Rounds Daily average 5- 15 well babies and 0-5 children on Pediatrics for these months Average 2 circumcisions daily Average 2 vaginal and 2 C-Sections Day Physician will attend all high risk deliveries Consults from Surgeons ICU Patients as needed (usually brief stay patients who are either transferred to Pediatrics or to another Center Office based Pediatricians will assist with Call initially 1:4, will move to 1:6. There ia a neonatologist present 24 hours/day to assist and an ICU Intensivist 24 hours/day.
