This city is located in the Northern part of the state in a family-oriented community of 10,000 people. Only 90 minutes to Bangor Maine and 2 hours to Portland Maine and less than 1 hour to Presque Isle Maine where the airport and medical school are located.
The hospital is a small critical access hospital. There are 28 skilled nursing/nursing home beds on the hospital campus. The hospital serves a population of 20,000 people. Services are typical of those of a rural community hospital and include a 24-hour physician covered ER.
This is a Cap exempt Opportunity for J1-Visa and H1-B Visa Physicians for the year 2022
Details: This will be an Outpatient practice You will be joining a Pediatric Physician as well as a NP and a PA. - The Outpatient clinic is Monday -Friday and each provider sees an average of 12 to 16 patients per day.The providers are responsible for the newborn nursery. The pediatrician's work Four days a week that will be well visits and sick visits. Pediatrician's attend a birth if there is a problem or it is an unscheduled C-section after hours. Last year, there were approximately 125 births. 45 were C-sections-30 were pre-planned. The Pediatrician Does not have to attend C-sections. This hospital is contracted with a neo-natal unit, in Bangor Maine.
Salary: Base salary is Competitive. Also offered is a Sign-on Bonus, Incentives, Benefits, Loan repayment, and Sponsor for a Green Card if needed.
