Job Description
This southwest GA health system, a JCAHO accredited facility, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatrician for a well-established private practice opportunity. The practice is primarily outpatient, but does involve rounding on newborns and attending a few deliveries. The practice is comprised of six physicians and four advanced practitioners.
Practice highlights include:
- Primary care in an outpatient setting, group primarily utilizes regional pediatric hospitalists for pediatric admissions
- Practice provides after-hours triage nurse
- First year salary guarantee
- Pediatricians are up-to-date with AAP guidelines and best practices
- 1 Week CME and 3 weeks’ vacation
- Practice has achieved NCQA level 3 Recognition for Patient Centered Medical Home
- Pediatricians are faculty members at FSU School of Medicine, and the office is a clinical teaching site for medical students.
- Call coverage 1:6
