Pediatrician Opportunity – Southeast Georgia (Locum to Permanent or Direct Hire
MedCare Staffing is actively recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician for a well-established and thriving outpatient practice in Southeast Georgia. This opportunity offers the flexibility to begin as a locum tenens provider with the potential for permanent employment or direct hire.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Beautiful, family-friendly community in Southeast Georgia offering a small-town lifestyle with a rural charm

• Setting: Outpatient clinic with shared inpatient call responsibilities

• Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• EMR: Meditech

• Diagnostic Services: On-site lab, imaging, and blood draw facilities available for comprehensive patient care

• Compensation:

  • Employed model includes base salary plus RVU-based incentives

  • Annual bonus eligibility upon exceeding performance benchmarks

Call Responsibilities:

• Shared call coverage for a Level 1 newborn nursery

• No delivery attendance required

• Three-provider call rotation

• Includes inpatient newborn rounding as needed

Qualifications:

• Current CV

• Georgia medical license (or eligibility)

• DEA license

• BLS certification

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics

• Two professional references

• Valid photo identification
