Pediatric Nocturnist Opportunity - Phoenix, AZ A 450+ provider multi-specialty group is looking for a Pediatric Nocturnist who is passionate about teaching and clinical quality. The successful candidate will join a group of eight Pediatric Hospitalists providing medical education and patient care at a public teaching hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Position Details

  • Coverage of the Inpatient Pediatric Unit, Couplet Care, and Level II Nursery
  • Daily rounds with pediatric residents and medical students
  • Pediatric residency program and pediatric hospital medicine fellowship in partnership with Phoenix Children s Hospital
  • Residency program accepts 36 residents per year
  • Teaching responsibilities include family medicine residents

Pediatric services include: 24-hour Pediatric Emergency Department 10-bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit 6-bed PICU Busy newborn nursery Level III NICU (deliveries covered by the NICU service) Readily available pediatric specialty services Requirements Passion for medical education and clinical quality Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required
